I finally decided to chop my hair off! The long bob became too tedious, too boring after 10+ years and the humid weather kept playing games with my hair texture.
A special thank you to Julia at AOC Salon who did a wonderful job! Besides the texture of my hair, face shape etc. she took my personal style into consideration which made all the difference! Of all the different pixies out there, I couldn’t have chosen one that would suit me better.

Make sure to take the followings into consideration before you get a totally different haircut:
1. Match your face shape to your cut.
2. Think about texture.
3. Consider the amount of time it will take every morning to style your new hairdo.
4. Consult your hair stylist! I would not recommend to get a drastic change at a salon when you walk through the door the first time! Give your stylist some time to get to know your hair and more importantly to get to know you!
5. Your hair will “freak out”. Don’t walk out of the salon without asking your stylist for product recommendations to style. If you cut your hair short, you will have to wash your hair more often as it gets dirtier, greasier faster and use conditioner / oils more sparingly.
