Corporate Rockstar | the shopping bag lace dress, sheinside top, h&m blazer, asos clutch, red reticule Hello everyone! In this series I would like to show you creative ways on how you can get the most wear out of a classic dress for different functions and occasions. Three Faces of a Woman | 1. Today I layered a blouse and a blazer on top of this navy lace dress to create the illusion of a skirt. My golden rule here is to keep the top and the blazer the same length (maybe the blazer slightly longer). The more simple the cut of the dress is, the more creative you can get with it. Simple silhouettes will never let you down and will always create a chic, sophisticated look.
Stay tuned for the upcoming posts in this series when I’ll show you more creative ways on styling this classy dress for different occasions!
Thank you so much for visiting!

Wait, this is a dress?! No way. It looks so seamless-ly perfect for a professional look. That looks fantastic. Good point- keep the blazer and blouse the same length, you won't look slouchy or frumpy, especially when you really cannot tuck the blouse into anything! Love this dress!

I would never have guessed that was a dress underneath there! What a cool idea layering a lace blouse over it. I love all of the lace in this look, and the structured blazer really brings it all together. Beautiful!

I like the idea of wearing a peplum top over a dress. I always struggle with using a dress as a skirt.
