The first thing I do every morning is to have breakfast. I can’t see, think, hear or function without a nutritious breakfast. To me breakfast is the largest and most important meal and it sets the tone for the rest of the day. A lot of times I power through the day starting at 7AM and I don’t get to eat until after 1PM. Oatmeal, eggs and an English muffin fuel me up enough providing all the necessary calories and fiber. We all need good calories and fiber to bring our A game every day, right?
If you’re on the go make up a thick oatmeal in a mug that will fit in your car’s console with nuts and fruits. You can whip up a no-cook, overnight oatmeal and you’ll be thankful you took the 10 minutes the night before. Cut up veggies and toss them into your omelet the next morning or wrap your omelet in a yummy, spinach tortilla.
