Hello everyone! I thought this business professional outfit may be just what we all need to get into the Monday groove.

The day I received my schedule for my first day orientation for my job, there was quite a bit of talk about the dos and donts in your business attire. One item that struck me said that women couldn’t wear any open toe shoes (let alone flops or anything of the kind). I loved it! I loved it so much that I actually texted my friend. Some people get the itch when they are told what not to wear for work. But it really comes down to the fact the company you work for has a certain image that they wish to maintain. As since you work for them, there is a certain demeanor that expect from you.
And a highly conservative corporate attire really doesn’t mean boring. Playing with the accessories can truly change up your outfit game and add a ton of personality to your look without crossing any lines. In this case, I chose to add some interest to business attire with colorful shoes and a handbag. By the way, this handbag isn’t just stylish but it is highly functional that meets all the needs a working woman would want. You can easily fit your laptop and iPad in it and it has separate compartments for your phone, cards, pens and your favorite lipstick! My favorite part is the detachable key strap. I use it for keys and USB sticks.
This indigo suit is one of my favorite sets from The Limited. I love the lightweight and comfortable fabric and those pants will look totally presentable for your 4PM meeting. You can chase me to another planet with wrinkled skirts and pants.
Have a great start into the new week, friends!
