I can’t help myself, I just adore the blazer, skinny jeans and pumps combination. The look is so polished and chic without giving too much of a serious impression to the world around us. You can easily swap out the heels to sneakers or loafers if you do a lot of running around or just prefer a more comfortable and effortless style.
J.Crew made this blazer absolutely incredible. The quality and hem work are impeccable and those little details on the collar and sleeves add so much class to the full look. It’s a structured, menswear inspired design that fits with pants, jeans or shorts a lot better than it does with skirts. The figure hugging skinny jeans or a chic pair of pencil trousers refine the jacket and feminize the full look without creating confusion. However adding a skirt to the same blazer end up being confusing: the skirt is feminine, the jacket looks very similar to the one your hubby/boyfriend wears, hence those two elements create a very strong contrast rather than balancing the outfit. Good for a business professional look.

The jacket runs true to size, proportions are just right and the fabric is made out of wool/poly. This is a great piece for those chilly fall days when it’s too cold for no jackets, but too warm for a coat. I like the versatility of it and it’s needless to say that the design, the color, the print and even the details make this a timeless garment.
The jeans were a real steal from Old Navy. I paid less than $50 for them and after a few weeks of keeping them on rotation, I am very pleased. These jeans have excellent value, they run true to size, they are comfortable and the detail work around the hem and the waist is just as good as a pair you pay twice as much for. I can definitely recommend it.
