buckle trim topper jacket
I dress most conservatively on Mondays and as I ease into the week, I get more creative, and casual towards the end (depending on what’s going on, of course). So, since we are just kicking off a new work week, it’s only right to channel a conservative corporate style look. Black and grey are very elegant colors and most certainly show professionalism. Incorporating colorful accessories, like this burgundy laptop bag shows personality, and they break up the all serious flare and make the outfit look more ladylike and approachable.
This Calvin Klein topper jacket has an interesting blend of fabrics. It’s a combination of polyester, rayon and spandex. A classic, lightweight and comfortable garment that barely wrinkles. It was made for the working woman. I appreciate the A-line design and the subtle shoulder pads for structure. The crew neckline shows simplicity and works well with statement collars, pearls or your favorite scarf. This jacket retails for $109 and it’s available online HERE. I also loved this rose version HERE from Tahari. This version HERE is almost identical to mine, but so much cooler! The faux leather trim and the stud details add a bit of an edge to the jacket. This tweed jacket is shorter, but still very elegant. It is currently on sale for $94 and you can shop it HERE.
This pair of tummy control pants is a steal for less than $40 HERE. It is comfortable and the design is simple. A must have in every working woman’s wardrobe.
I hope you all had a restful weekend and wish you a great start into the new work week!
