The weekend is in sight! In order to stay aligned with the weekend style and mood, today I am showing you a feminine cold-shoulder sweater. The off-the-shoulder and cold-shoulder trend has been hot lately in fashion world. If you like to experiment with it, I can recommend this chic, striped top HERE. It is not too trendy, the stripes keep it polished while the subtle ruffles add some fun factor. I also love this delicate and feminine version HERE. If you like the cold-shoulder trend, but not so sure about it just yet, try something that looks timeless and layers well, like this navy top HERE (it also comes in black and white)
The pictured ivory sweater is available HERE and it is very “Chicwish” -like. My friend, Rick has learned to spot any dress or top I got from Chicwish from a mile away. The knit portion is just like a regular off the shoulder sweater: the fabric is thick yet light, it feels soft and comfortable. The floral lace top is very feminine, a great contrast to the loose pullover. The two parts are very different, yet this top seems to be a perfect marriage between ultra casual and dressed up, feminine. It is a great pairing of textures and it doesn’t feel overwhelming with the color being neutral. I opted for a pair of jeans for a casual Sunday brunch with friends, but you can dress it up with a skirt for a bit more polished, still effortless kind of look.
If you are a Hampton Roads local, check out Jody G at 1624 Laskin Rd. in Virginia Beach. They have a great selection of off-the-shoulder and cold shoulder tops in their boutique or online HERE.
Have a wonderful day and weekend, friends!
