cold shoulder ruffle top
Playing with textures and volumes today. The bodice of this top has great structure tying in the delicate sheer fabric on top and the voluminous organza ruffles. The breast portion has additional padding that provides comfort and structure. There is a concealed zip closure on the side making the getting ready part really easy. They doubled up on the hemline on the organza ruffles which I love, since it adds tons of volume to the sleeves.
since there is so much texture and volume going on in this outfit, I kept the accessories to a bare minimum. I opted for a pair of red pumps and clutch, just because I have a tough time saying no to red. However this outfit is so bold and loud as it is that you can easily just go with a pair of nude or black sandals.
This is a statement top (I adore this casual version HERE) whether you dress it up or down. I paired it with crochet shorts for added interest and textures for a cocktail party, but you can make it look more elegant by pairing it with a pencil skirt or cropped pants. Coupling this stunner with your favorite skinny jeans will create an effortless, ultra trendy and comfortable look.
