easy A-line dress

Not cinching my waist with a belt to show off my bump is a first and I am not quite sure I like it. Trying to hide your bump ends up making a mommy-to-be look so much bigger and sort of “unfinished”. However, this effortless and easy dress still works perfectly with bold accessories during those comfy, off-duty kind of days.

work style options

I styled this dress for the office the other day, though. (I could not resist the comfort this piece has to offer.) I added a belt, this pair of black pumps HERE and this structured, longline vest. I felt put together, comfortable and ready for any kind of meeting that day.

I love a light, slightly crisp but casual/thin cotton. You look awesome! Do you have any photos of your work version? I can never seem to belt anything from JJill because there is always so much volume at the midsection that it’s just way too much fabric under a belt without looking like drapery folds, so I usually reserve their dresses for hot weather when I want nothing touching my body (esp since I am heat intolerant). Did it only work because you had a vest covering the folds of fabric or was it wearable without a topper? I’d love to see how your belt worked out!
